This year, SAPEA has an opportunity to contribute to the major conference, which takes place annually in Berlin and this year also digitally. During a YouTube livestream, Professor Rolf-Dieter Heuer, the Chair of the European Commission’s Group of Chief Scientific Advisors will answer questions from the audience and how to make politicians listen and understand science and why it is important.
SAPEA session “How to make science useful for Europe’s policy: Everything you wanted to ask about science advice.” will take place on 3 November at 11:00 Berlin time. It will be streamed on the SAPEA YouTube channel and will be open to all, and especially those who are interested in the role of science in policy making. Professor Heuer will engage with the audience in real time via the video feed and chat and participants will be invited to ask questions.
